This label is typically located underneath the boiler or inside the flip-down control panel, where the dials and digital screen are found. If your boiler is connected to the myVaillant App, you can also find the model name and the 20-to-28-character serial number within the system and device settings of the application.
The model name is usually listed prominently on the front casing or at the top of the data plate, often belonging to common ranges such as ecoTEC plus, ecoTEC pro, or Ecofit Pure. From the serial number, you can decode the manufacturing date: the 3rd and 4th digits indicate the production year (e.g., 25 for 2025), and the 5th and 6th digits show the week of that year.
